Portable Power and a Mobile Coop

Here at Mezzacello Urban Farm we are always looking for fun and interesting ways to make applied STEM accessible and powerful. This summer we designed and perfected (with the help of some summer camp kids) a mobile chicken and rabbit tractor that is not only mobile it also powers itself. The portable power and a mobile coop module is designed to run on any surface, from grass to gymnasium floors. All waste is collected (unless you are looking for fertilize grass) and all feed and water is on board. It is a self contained unit.

Designed To Be a Mobile Farm

The part of working on an urban farm I love the most is sharing what I do. This portable power and mobile coop module is DESIGNED to travel. It has a sturdy frame and everything it needs to present in a rec center, school, or even a community garden.

The animals are also modular. I can present rabbits, chickens, ducks, crickets, and even fish with this system. It really is that flexible. I raise all of these animals right here at Mezzacello Urban Farm.

Add An Education Lab and EPA Research Module to the Mix!

I also have a complete mobile classroom that runs on its own power and has its own 5G mobile relay. The classroom comes with a 55” monitor, web access and a variable workstation to teach subjects like bioengineering, biotech, renewable power, and new this year, a complete environmental assessment and data collection module.

I am passionate about sharing my unique applied STEM and agrotech teaching and learning modules. I need your help though. I need places to share this tech. My service costs are low and my impact is dramatic.

If you work in education, or run a YMCA or Rec Center here in Central Ohio, consider reaching out to me with this form. What do you have to lose except for the magic of hands-on learning in your classroom, garden, or rec center! I spent the first part of this year trying to reach out to you. Reach out to me!
