The Foodist: Buttermilk Biscuits

Helen Riley made amazing biscuits! This is her mother’s original recipe. We love this and you will too!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Cup buttermilk
- 2 Cups flour
- 1 Tsp baking powder
- 1/2 Tsp baking soda
- Salt to taste
- Shortening the size of an egg
DIRECTIONS
- Bake in a hot oven
